Enjoy the beautiful views on the verandah, stroll down to the river or have an early morning run. The cottage is an architect designed, open plan, one bedroom unit with partly open plan bathroom. Morning sun pours through expansive glass panes, a free standing fireplace and solid wood floors help keep it warm in winter. A 20 minute drive gets you to Nottingham Road shops and restaurant

Tugela River Lodge is a pet friendly, self-catering Eco-Lodge, located on a private cattle and game farm on the banks of the Tugela River, near Winterton, KZN, South Africa. We run off solar and gas and invite guest to come and enjoy the quiet side of nature. Our lodge has access to many miles of trails for hiking, biking and running through our private game farm where one can get up close and personal with our resident giraffe. The sounds of the river are sure to put you to sleep at night!

Experience the peace of the meandering Mooi River, nature, livestock and the quiet bustle of an active farmyard. The cottage is self catering, and close to Mooi River town for supplies or takeaways. There is 4km of rough dirt road to access the farm (high clearance vehicles recommended)
