Our charming rental cottage, nestled in the scenic village of Alkborough, offers a perfect getaway for nature lovers and history enthusiasts. The cottage is located opposite the church and just a short walk from the historic Julian’s Bower, a unique turf maze with a fascinating history. This ancient maze, thought to date back to medieval times, is a local treasure and provides not only an intriguing glimpse into the past but also stunning panoramic views of the landscape. For those who enjoy walking, the area offers a range of scenic trails. Wander through lush countryside, along riverside paths, or take in the views from the high points overlooking the Alkborough Flats. Centrally located in Winterton comfortable for a singleton, couple or couple with child with a host of food outlets, pubs and shops conveniently located on your doorstep. Only 25mins from Humberside Airport. This compact self catering annexe is within the grounds of a family home with outside seating available to enjoy. Please note there are resident Cockerpoos on the grounds. We are pet-friendly and welcome well-behaved small dogs (one per stay only). Secure on-site parking for motorbikes.

Luxurious king size bed, good wi-fi connection, spacious lounge area to relax in, newly fitted bathroom with shower and bath, tea, toast & full kitchen. On-street free parking, close walking distance to local shops and pubs for evening meals. Crowle train station 1.7 miles, 6 minute drive. Good motorway connection from M62, M18, M180.

Cottage offers kitchen with a fridge which has a small freezer section, dishwasher, washing machine, cooking accessories, tea & coffee, dining table & chairs for four. Living area with comfortable seating & TV. Bedroom has a king size bed, space for single bed (upon request) and space for a cot (cots not provided). Bathroom with walk in shower & separate bath. Parking available on site.

Lovely Victorian end terrace cottage in the pretty village of Laxton near Howden. We have Two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one single bedroom. The cottage is ideal for couples, business travellers, families with one child and dogs. The village has a great pub with delicious home cooked food and a cosy open fire. Only 3 miles away is the historic Market town of Howden with it's great range of shops, cafes and bars. Laxton is an ideal base for exploring East or North Yorkshire.

It boasts beautiful country walks, close to Alkborough Flats for those who enjoy birdwatching and nature. Walk by the river and see Marsh Harriers and Deer. Relax and unwind in this ancient landscape. Fishing and horse-riding facilities close by.
