You can hire day boats and paddle boards near Abingdon bridge for the day. There is a regular bus service to Oxford City Centre. You are able to use the Marina slipway for paddle boards and canoes near us.

This newly built, spacious and stylish one bedroom cottage is set in the picture perfect village of Brightwell-cum-Sotwell, located in South Oxfordshire. Peaceful and private it is brilliantly located for tranquil walks, or exploring the history of nearby Wallingford or Oxford. Airy and spacious, the cottage is well equipped and modern. The Studio is in the country side at the edge of the village in a rural environment. Ideal for 2-3 people and their pets. Cycling distance to Didcot, and parking on premises is possible. You might hear our roosters and hens, and may benefit from a fresh egg or two. Secluded entry and court yard, 1-2 rooms with double bed and bed sofa. Ensuite bathroom and fully equipped kitchenette, including a washer/dryer. Large pet flap into the court yard. Outside dining area and bike shed.

Modern studio with comfy Ikea bed, fully fitted kitchen including dishwasher, fridge/freezer, oven and hob, toaster, kettle, microwave and a Nespresso coffee machine. There is free wifi and full Sky TV with Netflix. There is also full central heating. The studio is in a beautiful rural location well away from our historic house. So visitors may come and go as they please. There is ample parking directly in front of the studio. We are 10 minutes drive from Didcot Parkway station.

Our newly renovated self contained studio is attached to our home and is situated on the outskirts of the picturesque village of clifton Hampden. We are a five minute walk from the Thames footpath which is perfect for enjoying this beautiful stretch of the river either towards Wallingford or Oxford. The studio has an equipped kitchen area and separate shower room. There is parking and the studio has its own separate entrance. The decor is modern and clean with a cosy ambiance.

Gardeners’ Cottage (Georgian stable conversion)

An entirely self contained cottage, recently converted from a Georgian stable and gardeners’ lodge. While adjacent to the owners property it is entirely separate, with its own secure parking and EV charger. Located in a small village, with two pubs on doorstep. Market town of Wallingford (setting for “Midsomer Murders”) is short walk, many amenities including boat rides on the River Thames an outdoor heated pool (summer), great restaurants and shops including Waitrose.
