Quirky elevated cottage called Tigeen, little house in Irish. It is hard to adequately describe the beauty of the setting of this cottage, I fell in love with it before ever being inside. It is totally private without being isolated, it is on its own little hill overlooking the bay of Liscannor and within walking distance to the Cliffs. Inside the walls are 3-foot-thick with the cottage being over 200 years old and has hand -made interior wooden shutters to cover the large light filled windows

Hill climbing to the rear and beach walks to the front of the cottage, there are possibly few locations to compare with this cottage

The Yellow Cottage, Doolin

Yellow Cottage dates back to the late 1800s and was originally built for the family who worked the surrounding fields. The cottage has been restored to keep much of the original character, complemented by carefully selected period pieces to maintain its authentic charm. It is a short drive from Doolin village and the famous music pubs. The Cottage has a lovely outdoor space surrounded by a rock garden and has views across Doolin village, the Cliffs of Moher and the Atlantic Coast.

Silverhill House, Miltown Malbay

Retreat to this charming and elegant home located just a short drive from Miltown Malbay, Lahinch and the Cliffs of Moher. This house is nestled in nature, offering private access to the old native woodland of the Glendine Valley. The home radiates warmth and sustainability, renovated with natural materials and utilising solar panels. The cabin is ideal for families or for small interest groups looking to explore the Burren Geopark and the Wild Atlantic Way.

My home is situated on a quiet country lane 5 minutes drive from the seaside town of Lahinch. The main living area has panoramic views of Liscannor bay. The house is on the Wild Atlantic way and a short drive from the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren, the links golf courses in Lahinch (5km) and Doonbeg (25km). Home to Jon Rahm, winner of the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open in 2019. The house has been featured in BBC/RTÉ production #smother.
