It was originally built as a cottage for gardeners at the nearby shooting lodge, which is now Knockinaam Lodge, a 19th century luxury hotel & the only luxury boutique hotel in Dumfries & Galloway!

Set within 5 acres of it's own land and situated in the beautiful countryside of Wigtownshire, South West Scotland. We started this listing in 2013 but only put the bare essentials in. Only today, April 4 2018 have we actually finished it. This is why we have had no guests or reviews from Airbnb so far! You can find 5-star reviews for us on Trip Advisor.

Our other cottage, which is immediately adjacent, sleeps 4 and people often rent the two properties together for larger groups.

Portpatrick is situated approximately 6 miles from the main town of Stranraer.
