Swann House B&B - Room 4

This serene 2nd floor room features a beautifully crafted King size wooden bed and an original decorative fireplace. French doors lead to a large flower-filled private deck overlooking the pool and furnished with bistro table and chaise lounge for secluded relaxation. The elegant bathroom features an oversized travertine marble shower and sunny vanity area overlooking the pool. The room was originally designed for the lady of the house as her dressing room, it has become our most requested room.

This spacious garden-level suite boasts a large bedroom with a king sized bed. A candle-lit decorative brick fireplace beckons you to relax. A velvet settee and accent chair are positioned in the windowed turret as an ideal spot to curl up and unwind. The luxurious bathroom features a stunning marble arched shower with two rain shower heads and heated floors. A Fire TV and mini-fridge complete the room. Down the hallway, a second bedroom awaits with a full size sleeper sofa, vanity and dresser.

This large, luxurious garden-level suite welcomes you with a king size bed, a Venetian mirrored dresser and a full-size sleeper sofa placed under large windows framed with exquisite silk panels. Step into the bathroom and find yourself surrounded in rich amber hued onyx - from the mosaic around the vanity to the large shower complete with a rainbath shower head. Unwind with a massaging soak in the 2 person air-tub. A Fire TV and heated bathroom floors finish this beautiful, private room.

Featuring nine foot ceilings and raised wood panels, the spacious bedroom welcomes you with a handsome King size bed. The window dormer is outfitted with built-in benches and table. Open the French doors to find a separate sitting room for lounging complete with a daybed. This suite can accommodate up to 2 adults + 2 children with a rollaway bed. Additional fees apply.

This warm and inviting King size room on the second-floor features a handcrafted rattan bed and large windows welcoming the afternoon light. A decorative fireplace mantel and original plaster crown moldings reflect some of the nineteenth century craftsmanship found throughout Swann House. The black marble and mirrored bathroom with a traditional tub/shower combination features one of only two remaining pedestal sinks original to the house.

Stay in a 1926 bungalow with breakfast included. Beautiful front porch and the backyard includes nine fruit trees, a full garden and a summer hammock. The entire second floor is your private space. Bike to the Mount Vernon Estate or the U.S. Capital. In the summer we have many cozy spaces outside. In the fall and winter, you can take an urban hike to the White House. Our home is following all cleaning requirements for your health and ours.

This quaint round room with a queen size low profile murphy bed allows the original wood flooring and curved wall with windows overlooking Dupont circle to be the main focal point in the second floor turret room. Three wonderful, large windows flood the room with sunlight to visually enlarge the space. The built-in bookcases feature a curated library. The fresh all white bathroom is complete with a stand up shower.

This third-floor airy room, decorated in rich gold tone, speaks romance! Lounge in the golden velvet king size bed and breathe in the ambiance conveyed by the grand Gothic windows, cathedral ceilings, skylight and original decorative fireplace. The turreted bathroom has a gilded domed ceiling, large claw foot tub with elegant rain shower beneath an art deco chandelier.
