One mile off the popular NC500 tourist route, our two pods and a Shepherd's Hut offer peace and quiet in an idyllic location with some amazing sunrises, sunsets and starry skies.

Newly self-contained chalet with double bed and small double sofa for family of 4 or 3 adults! Surrounded by open countryside and stunning sea views, this is the perfect base for a relaxing holiday exploring Caithness beaches, brochs and breweries or for an active holiday sea-swimming, surfing and hill-walking. Self contained chalet with own key so you can come and go as you please, but owners are on hand to help with any queries and suggestions needed to make your stay memorable.

The Old Smiddy, Huna, John O'Groats

Close to the village of John O' Groats and on the North Coast 500, the Old Smiddy (an old blacksmith's cottage) has been beautifully restored into a modern home, while keeping many of its original features. The cottage sleeps 4 people in 2 double bedrooms (both en-suite) and has a fold-away camp bed for use by a small child. The cottage offers beautiful sea views across the Pentland Firth to the Orkney Islands and is the perfect base for exploring Caithness, Sutherland and Orkney.

Morven Lodge and BBQ Hut

Caithness View Luxury Farm Lodges is on our family farm, Barrock Mains, in the far North of Scotland! The vaulted ceilings in each spacious lodge sets them apart and the BBQ huts are a huge hit with guests. Each Lodges sleeps up to 6 people and include a shower room, kitchen and open plan living area with a sofa bed, a double bed and further twin bedroom. With 950 acres of farmland to explore, the beautiful Lodges offer far reaching views some say are the best in the County!

The Bothy at Borlum House, Reay

In the heart of the Scottish Highlands and directly on the NC500 route, is Borlum House Farm, a lovingly restored 1700’s farm house in the beautiful little village of Reay. This couples retreat is warm and cosy with an open plan living room with farmhouse style kitchen which is fully equipped and with all the modern necessities to make you feel at home!! A lovely modern bathroom with no only a power shower but a separate bath. Our Lodge and Annex are also available to book.

Hillside Camping Pods - Morven Pod NC500

Morven Pod is situated next to Stroma Pod in the rural village of Auckengill in Caithness, five miles south of John O'Groats. Morven Pod has sea and countryside views. The shower block is just a few steps away and Morven Pod has it's own shower, toilet and sink within the block so no shared facilities! All bedding and towels are provided as well as complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, milk and breakfast cereals. One small or medium size dog is allowed. We do not have WiFi.

Berriscue House is a beautiful, bespoke cottage - located in the centre of Thurso, hidden away from the world with a large walled garden and private entrance. Five minute walk from the beach. Everything you need for a cosy Scottish retreat! If booking the same day after 6pm please message as it may still be possible to book. If you require the extra bed in the living room, you must tell us in your initial message so we know to prepare this for you.

Bright modern space suitable for families & couples alike. Situated in the quiet fishing village of Keiss, with walks suitable for all the family to the picturesque beach & harbour, there are brochs within a 10 minute walk & 2 castles along the coast, John o Groats is an 8 mile drive away where there is a passenger ferry to take you to the orkney Islands, or a car ferry at Gills bay.
