Cozy Country Cottage

Come stay in our ​cozy cottage located down a country lane. Part of the Ponder farm dating back to 1906, we have a little house that offers a peaceful environment overlooking the family farm with a picturesque old barn, surrounded by tree lined fields. Enjoy the updated home with fully furnished kitchen, queen bed, and open front and back porches for relaxing in the quiet countryside. We are located just south of Sherman off Hwy 11, close to Austin College, with easy access to Highway 75.

Surrounded by beautiful oak trees, our Oak Retreat Guest House is the perfect place to enjoy the tranquility of the country! Just 15 minutes north of Bonham, and nestled between Lake Bonham and the newly constructed Bois D’ Arc Lake, you are only minutes from shopping, dining and recreation. Built in 2021, the space is a 750 sq ft farmhouse style studio perfect for couples or a couple with a small child. Beautiful vaulted wood ceilings and antique furnishings take you back in time!

Blue Ridge Texas Ranch Escape

Our tiny space features remote entry and your own porch for sitting and enjoying the sunset. Approximately 550 sq. feet with many amenities. The queen size bed is a murphy bed and can be folded up to give you more space. There is also a fold out bed, all linens provided. This type bed is best for a child, teen, or small adult. We have alpaca, emu, goats, chickens, ducks, turkeys, dogs, & cats. The space has a refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, crockpot, blender, sink, dishes.

This is a beautiful country get away. Plenty of space to run around, ride horses, or have a fire and roast marshmallows. It is close to a charming small town with cute local shopping. Also very close to the Sulphur River where you can go fossil hunting, hiking, picnicing etc. Driving distance from Bonham State Park. Within a few miles of the Bois D'Arc Lake and we have plenty of room to park your boat or trailer during your stay.

Welcome to our cottage. Boasting beautiful sunsets, wide open spaces and even a small pond. Our location has easy access to a major highway. We have backyard chickens, so fresh eggs are always available to you. Inside we have a full kitchen with a gas range, cozy living room and TV, a large office space, and a relaxing bedroom. We want to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The owner is on standby if you have any questions.

All modern conveniences and furniture with a country french theme. Although it is a tiny house, it is very roomy and has plenty of space for one or two people. Please come and enjoy a relaxing visit.

Grandma's Cottage: Close to Bois d’Arc Lake

Relax in this cozy 2 bedroom newly renovated home with room for boat and trailer parking. Grandma's Cottage has just enough room to relax during your stay in Bonham with two living areas. This home has garage access and a long driveway for a boat trailer. It is located in central Bonham so you are close to everything including Lake Bois d’Arc and yet far enough to get some rest.
