Walkers will love the Burren landscapes, while music lovers are only 7 minutes from Kinvara’s famous sessions, pubs, cafés and Dunguaire Castle. Traught Beach and a local pub are close by. Ideal for couples and solo travellers.

The Blue Yard

The Blue Yard is a tiny home on the beautiful drive-on island of Aughinish, 12 km outside the sea-side town of Kinvara, named one of the top ten beautiful villages in Ireland. Aughinish Island is accessed by a 1 km causeway (not tidal) and is an area of unspoilt beauty with local pebble beaches a five minute walk away and the sandy beach of Traught a ten min drive away (8 km). You'll be staying on the Clare-Galway border with both the wildness of the Burren and Galway city at your doorstep.

(A car is necessary - we are in a very beautiful rural area with very limited public transport.)

Just 7km from the lovely village of Kinvara listed on top 10 prettiest towns in Ireland (Google vagabondtoursofireland prettiest-towns-and-villages-ireland) We feel that the space is very cosy and homely. We hope our guests do too. We are in an ideal location for cycling, walking or swimming in the Sea and can provide storage for your Bicycles.

Burren chalet - beautiful space, fabulous location

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. The chalet is nestled at the foot of Oughtmama Mountain amongst ash, hazel, and whitethorn trees. It's the perfect location for walking on the Burren pavement, caving, rock climbing, foraging on the shore, or swimming in the Atlantic. You can enjoy a delicious meal and a pint in one of the many great pubs or restaurants in the area, or you can shop in one of the local farmer's markets and cook up a storm in the chalet.

Off-grid Cabin 2

Stay in one of my eco friendly cabins. The micro-cabins are almost 100% off-grid, with a wood burning stove, solar powered lighting, composting toilet, etc. The leafy outside area has a deck/porch, and a patio area solely for guests use. A short walk will bring you to the heart of this colourful village, with pubs, good restaurants, Irish music. Kinvara is an ideal base to explore The Burren. Our renovated coach house has 2 comfy bedrooms and open plan kitchen & living area with a solid fuel stove. Sea views, fantastic base for exploring the Burren. Walking distance from Linnanes Lobster Bar a popular restaurant & bar serving a great menu. Beach 2 mins walk. Our cottage shares the courtyard with our house so we are nearby if need be, We also have a treehouse in the garden which hosts 2 guests and can be booked on airbnb search The Crow's nest.
