The Guest Suite

Open floor plan studio with parking & easy access to Old Town Alexandria, Nat’l Harbor, and DC via public transit, or with your own car. Located in a quiet neighborhood, the suite house has its own outdoor deck with a private seating & dining area. Inside is just over 500 sqft and has a large couch, twin and queen size beds, kitchenette, full bath with tub and desk and chair for remote workers. Additional inflatable twin mattress available by request. Well behaved and house trained pets welcome.

Our project to make use of leftover logs turned into a tiny house! Cozy Log Cabin looking out on almost an acre of nature but just minutes from all the DC sites. Perfect for a single escape, a romantic getaway, a small family/group gathering, or a serene remote work location. 1/4 mile to bus and 1.5 miles to DC metro, plenty of free parking. We live in a log home next door - so happy to provide advice on sites/restaurants and directions. No-SMOKING of any kind and NO pets and parties allowed.

An upstairs (lots of stairs), rear entrance offers a private feel. Short walk to stores, YMCA, restaurants, dog parks & more! 12 min drive to DCA & Braddock metro about a mile. Noise may be an issue if you need silence.

Guests will have private access to the entire basement suite including a comfortable queen bed, a beautifully renovated bathroom, and a dining table/desk. The host lives upstairs and is available to assist with any questions or concerns.

No kitchen, but the suite is surrounded by dozens of restaurants and bars. We do have a small fridge and coffee bar. No microwave
