Modern appliances and comfortable furnishings, the cottage has everything you will need for a relaxing break.

Connected to the old cruck barn this is a compact, cosy, self contained bedroom. It’s set on one side of the courtyard with separate key access so you can come and go at will. If you love the outdoors, we think you will love it here. We have spectacular views of the Cairngorms, with excellent walks from the door. 'The Steading’ is a barn cabin on a working farm with wood burning stove set near the North Coast 500 route. Enjoy the peace of the Highlands while painting, writing, yoga, walking and cycling or simply relaxing in front of the fire with a cup of tea. NO SHOWER / NO HOT running water. Sanitizer and hand soap provided. Take your own bedding or very basic bedding provided. No phone signal/WiFi. We are a sand dune away from a safe beach and coastal walks where you may be lucky and see otters, seals and some of the Moray Firth dolphins.The village has a golf course with a hospitable clubhouse And a fascinating museum the TARBAT DISCOVERY CENTRE whose website is well worth a look at. The general store has a good choice of foodstuffs which you can cook in our well equipped kitchen.

The Highland Capital of Inverness is only 20 minutes away.
