Dollar General located 3 miles away & a country store with fuel 1.5 miles away. This fully furnished 2/1 currently has 1 full size & 1 queen size bed and 5’ shower(not a full tub). Smoking is allowed OUTSIDE ONLY!

Our cabin is the perfect getaway to enjoy nature, coffee on the front porch or a cocktail on the upstairs deck, a ride in the woods or a swim in the freshwater creeks. It is a great place to enjoy a romantic weekend, or a vacation with the kids and your pets for outdoor adventures which include hiking or biking the many trails and ravines, or capturing images of birds and other wildlife with your camera. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen for gourmet cooking and dining on the front porch.

Unwind on the deck. Hike the trails into the forest and down to the creek. Play pool, air hockey, or ping pong in our balcony game room. Hang out in the pool or in the great room which has 3 couches, 2 recliners, and lots of space to spread out. And leave feeling refreshed and ready to get back to life.

Thunder Ridge —Entire House pet-friendly near NOLA

Thunder Ridge at the Forest Retreat is an adults-only pet-friendly getaway. Children may come only during specific holidays. Your house will be unlocked. Check-in is a 3 p.m. Here you are surrounded by the Homochitto National Forest. Take a picnic to the sand-bars along the pristine spring-fed creek. Hike or mountain bike on the remote forest roads.
