The rustic exterior provides the High Country charm of yesteryear nestled on 30 acres of rural tranquility. 100m from the main residence you have your own privacy. We call this our Cabin but it is a small home with 110m2 living area & 47m2 of outdoor undercover living. 13 minutes from Mansfield & ideally located to explore the High Country.

BARNAWARTHA ACCOMMODATION - DALKEITH CABIN

Dalkeith Cabin is situated in Barnawartha which makes a great base to explore historical Chiltern and the surrounding regions of Rutherglen, Beechworth, Yackandandah, Mt Pilot National Parkland with the snowfields of Mt Beauty 1 ½ hours away and Falls Creek 2 hours away. We are 5 minutes’ drive off the Hume Highway, and 20 minutes’ drive up the Hume to Wodonga/Albury. Come and enjoy our piece of paradise, relax on the deck after exploring our wonderful region with a glass of our regions wine.

Tewksbury Lodge authentic Canadian style Log Cabin

Tewksbury Lodge is a 4.5 star Log Cabin, located 5 mins drive from Bright, with great views of Mount Buffalo, nestled beside the Ovens River. You’ll love the Lodge which offers the unique experience of an authentic, hand-crafted log cabin. The tranquil setting, the cosiness of the Log Cabin, spa, log fire, comfy beds and leather recliners offer an accommodation experience difficult to find elsewhere in Australia. The Lodge is self catering and good for 1 or 2 couples or families with kids.

Little Bogong

Little Bogong offers a comfortable and private hide-away for one or two couples seeking peace and solitude. Enjoy spectacular outlook to Victoria’s high mountains. The set-up includes a brand new second bathroom and laundry off the main downstairs living area to accompany the quality queen-sized sofa bed. Set on two hectares of steep landscaped grounds, the unique site will take your breath away with its native plantings, visiting kangaroos, native birds, and private outdoor dining space.

Avalon House: The Mine Managers

The Mine Managers Suite at Avalon House has some of the original timber wall panelling dating back to 1889 giving it old word charm whilst upgraded modern amenities make it a warm and comfortable private apartment for two. This was the residence of Thomas Davey who managed the Harrietville Gold Company till the great depression in the 20’s. With a private pet friendly courtyard, it is in the centre of town walking distance to Cafes, Parks, Rivers, Pubs and all Harrietville has to offer.

Beechworth Cabins

Beechworth Cabins are situated only a few minutes walk to the centre of town. There are only four self contained compact cabins, making it ideal for families as well as those wanting a peaceful getaway. Each cabin sleeps five or the entire place sleeps 20. Close to town centre, the Rail Trail, the Gorge, Lake Sambell, antiques stores, cafes, hotels, museums, the historical centre, walks and wineries. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups.

Riverview Retreat

Escape to our secluded off-grid cabin, a peaceful retreat with stunning river views. Unplug from the digital world and reconnect with nature. Enjoy private river access, a modern rustic space, a large deck, cozy open fire, and a well-stocked kitchen (gas fridge/stove). Relax with a book, lounge in the hammock, or explore nearby bushwalking trails. Family and dog-friendly, this cabin inspires creativity and connection. Perfect for relaxation, adventure, or simply slowing down.

Private Bush Retreat | Outdoor Bath & Fire

More than just a place to stay — Mittagong Talia is a 54-acre secluded bush escape beside Reedy Creek in Chiltern-Mt Pilot National Park 30mins from Beechworth, designed to help you switch off and unwind. Soak in the outdoor bath, enjoy the stillness of the bush and relax by the fire with a boardgame or a book. Sleeps up to 6. Best suited to couples and adults. Due to the natural bush setting, creek, uneven terrain and wood fire, it's not suitable for children under 12.

Beaunart cabin

Our cosy private solar powered cabin is set on our farm in the picturesque Kiewa Valley. Close to snow fields, the Hume Weir, Kiewa River, and gourmet food and wine regions. Everything you need for a relaxing weekend away from life's hustle and bustle! We have gas stove and heating and the shower is run with a solar powered gas heating system . There is also a solar powered fridge in the cabin for guests . Sunsets and star gazing are perfect

Pete's Alpine Studio 3

Comfortable and eclectic, this self contained one bedroom studio (one of three) has been built almost entirely from recycled materials. Located at Alpine Ridge, in the heart of the high country and just 4 kilometres from the base of Mt Buller, it is perfectly located for exploring this pristine area. Suitable for people who love the mountains and everything that goes with it. Two other studios are also available.

Westley's Cottage

Cosy log cabin situated at the base of the beautiful Warby ranges. This off the grid solar powered cottage is located in the Glenrowan wine region only 20 minutes drive from Wangaratta/Benalla,15 minutes from Winton Speedway and 10 minutes from Winton Wetlands Lovely secluded location and outlook over working farm. Ideal for couples wanting a peaceful getaway. Excellent log heater and ceiling fans.
