Farm experience in Sparta, TN. Come and enjoy the peace we have found. You can pet the donkeys, feed the fish and enjoy some pizza and wine next door at Northfield Winery. We are located 15 minutes from Burgess Falls State Park and within 30 minutes of numerous other state parks. Whether you want to kayak, hike or just find some peace you can do it on our farm. If you want to visit Nashville, Knoxville and/or Chattanooga we are approximately an hour and a half away from each of them.

The Lakeview Nature Cabin at Bear Bluff Retreat is located on a wooded 20 acres above and overlooking Wright's Bend on Center Hill Lake near Rock Island State Park. The surrounding area is considered the waterfall mecca of Tennessee with more caves, waterfalls and scenic overlooks per square mile than anywhere else in the United States. This cabin features a nature theme and provides a perfect perch for nature lovers to view birds and beautiful sunsets over the water.

Our centrally-located tiny home is just 2.5 miles south of I-40 & a few miles from restaurant row & TTU. Burgess Falls state park & Window Cliffs State Natural Area 5 miles away. Cummins Falls 11 miles. Cookeville Boat Dock Marina on Center Hill Lake 9.5 miles (kayak/canoe to Fancher Falls from the marina). Our family of 4, along with numerous cats and 3 dogs, lives here on 3 acres, so there’s plenty of grass for your pet(s). Quiet, relaxing atmosphere to rest.

The Owl's Nest will be your next home away from home! Tucked away at the end of a dead-end gravel road, you'll find our perfectly secluded A-frame with all the amenities you'll need for a little R&R. Enjoy an evening with friends/family by the fire pit, or a daytime adventure down to the lake by way of walking trail. We hope you'll enjoy our home, and the sounds of nature (and an occasional hoot from the resident owls) that come with it, as much as we do.
