Rural RetreatQuiet and isolated

Situated in the shadow of the South Downs National Park on a small rural road with hardly any neighbours our charming cottage is a great place from which to explore the unspoiled open countryside and its many footpaths around us. The nearest street light is two miles away. Owls, deer and the occasional nightingale are the only sounds in the middle of the night The cottage décor is fresh and modern with plenty of parking and a small decking area. Pets are allowed by agreement, email us to ask.

Jacks Cottage -

A beautiful oak framed building with great views of the south downs. Accommodation comprising of a comfortable lounge with TV and wifi and log burner. The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher, oven and microwave. One double bedroom downstairs with en suite shower room. Upstairs there is a mezzanine with two single beds and a sitting area above the lounge area with a bathroom with free standing bath. The outside space is a south facing patio with table and chairs and a BBQ is available.

The Groom’s Cottage

Arranged in the traditional U-shape, the cottage forms part of a converted stable block within the grounds of a former equestrian estate near the historical town of Lewes. The cottage benefits from its own, South-facing patio which looks out onto a communal courtyard. The property has its own private entrance and two car parking spaces. The annexe is adjacent to the main house and a perfect country getaway suitable for a quiet holiday, visiting local Sussex attractions, or a handy base for visiting friends or family. The house itself is late Victorian, with generously proportioned rooms and high ceilings. There are 2 interconnecting bedrooms with a shared shower room. Both bedrooms have double beds. Breakfast isn't provided but there is a kitchen for self catering. The living area has a woodburning stove. NB there is no tv!

Bull Cottage, Sheffield Park

A beautiful, 16th century cottage in an area of outstanding natural beauty close to the village of Fletching in East Sussex. Very much a home from home, you can step into a little bit of history with its numerous period features including oak beams, wattle and daub walls and an inglenook fireplace. Cosy in winter and cool in the summer months, it is a great place to unwind and get away from it all, whilst also being on the doorstep of many local walks, pubs and attractions.

South Downs Country Cottage

The White House in steyning is a period cottage arranged over split levels with direct access to footpaths leading to the South Downs Way. Located on a quiet country lane offering a rural and tranquil setting within a 5 min walking distance to the beautiful historic market town of Steyning with its many shops, restaurants, pubs and regular farmers markets. The White House enjoys a lovely private garden with far reaching views, a courtyard and bbq and seating area.

This is a great location to explore the Kent & Sussex countryside. The spa town of Royal Tunbridge Wells is a 20 minute drive and only 45 minutes to the South Coast. We are family friendly.
