Beautiful, inspiring, and peaceful, Arthouse is a place to escape. This converted art studio in West Dorset is close to Chesil Beach and the Jurassic Coast. It is surrounded by wildflowers and features contemporary art and sculptures by artists Rouwen and Reeve. The space is complemented by mid-century modern furnishings, high ceilings, and exposed beams. All doors open to a private patio and a naturalistic garden. The Sauna, located in the gravel garden looks out onto sculptures and plants.

Moorhen cabin

Sit back and chill in this calm, stylish space. Moorhen is a newly refurbished cabin in the owner's grounds. Surrounded by open countryside and sitting directly on a bridleway/cycle route 26. It comes with use of the owner's tennis court, boules court and riverbank. In addition to the balcony some areas of the main garden are also for guest use . Within easy reach of Dorchester, Weymouth and the world famous Jurassic coast. Moorhen provides a peaceful base for you to take it easy and explore

The Outback Cabin

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. There is a super king memory foam bed as well as a sofa which pulls out into a double bed. The bedroom leads directly into a bathroom equipped with walk in electric shower, toilet and sink. There is a small kitchenette area which hosts a fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle. Tea and coffee is supplied. There is a 5 seat hot tub at the side of the cabin for use whilst staying at the property as well as outdoor patio furniture.

Enchanting Manor Coach House

An elegant, relaxed home in the grounds of the Manor in this AONB with walks directly from the house. The pretty village of Winterbourne St. Martin (Martinstown) has a great pub and a super village shop both within a short walk. Close to the Jurassic Coast and spectacular country views, its the perfect place to chill after a walk, a day at the beach (approx five miles away) or visiting the many attractions in and around Dorchester. Guests have a private garden, and access to a tennis court.

Chesil Lodge Cottage

Chesil Lodge Cottage is situated in the beautiful coastal hamlet of West Bexington, one of Dorset's best kept secrets, and just a stone's throw from the spectacular Chesil beach. The cottage is a comfortably appointed chalet with its own driveway, ample parking and enclosed private garden. There is a wooden veranda with sea and countryside views. Inside there is one double bedroom and a further bedroom with a double bed and single bunk above. There is also a sofa-bed in the lounge.

A fully self contained hut including a double bed, kitchen with multi cooker, wood burner and en-suite bathroom including hot shower and state of the art composting toilet. Small enclosed garden; dog friendly.

The Seaside Shepherd’s Hut

Fall asleep to the sound of waves on shingle in this stunning, hand-crafted oak shepherd’s hut. In winter the Hut is cosy with double glazing, a wood burner plus radiator. In summer relax on the deck to enjoy glorious views of Lyme Bay on the World Heritage Jurassic Coast. Nestling in my garden, Chesil Beach and the South West Coast Path are 30 seconds away down a private path. Watch magnificent sunsets over the bay and enjoy stargazing in our dark skies.

The Spar House

The Spar House is a tiny, historic cottage that is over 200 years old in the heart of Abbotsbury village. It is surrounded by wildlife and conveniently located at the edge of a public footpath, giving access to walks with stunning views of the surrounding area. With its own cottage garden, it’s an ideal place to sit back, relax and enjoy the beauty of Abbotsbury. It was originally used by the local thatcher ‘The Basket Maker’ in the 1920s.

This beautiful refurbished 2 bedroom 2 bath maisonette can sleep up to 5 comfortably, perfect for a family holiday or couple/s enjoying a short break . Bedroom 2, has a King size bed and a single bed. Nearby carparks. A permit can be arranged at extra cost. Parking is not guaranteed.
