Located right on Birkie Ridge Trailhead with close access to vast CAMBA trails, this is a nature escape for outdoor enthusiasts who love to bike, ski, hike, and bird watch. Enjoy ski-in ski-out to groomed trails, bike-in bike-out right onto trails, then cozy up by the woodstove or fire-pit at night.

This cozy apt is the lower level of a ranch house, off hwy 13 in Glidden. 4 rooms - a big bedrm w/ king & single beds, kitchenette with a table, refrig, dishwasher, microwave, dishes, coffee supplies and elect. skillet. The big bathrm has a large shower, & the "Garage Bar" (Aviation theme) is "Harry's Hangar." Walk downtown to the Bear Crossing Conven. Built as a winter or summer escape for a couple or small group, this beautiful four season cabin is a great way to experience the Northwoods of Wisconsin in a modern, well-appointed, aesthetically rich space designed with relaxation in mind. Cabin is brand new as of January 2024. Host is 14 year "superhost" This is a default "no pets" cabin, however certain sizes and breeds are allowed by permission only. We have a NEMA 15-40R outlet for level 2 EV charging. You bring chord and adapter

Norrsken Scandinavian Cottage

The guest cottage is painted to resemble a Scandinavian retreat. Complete with separate bedroom, extra fold-out sofa queen bed, kitchenette, wood burning stove, WiFi (the best we can find but not great!!!) and large television (DirecTV), it is a great getaway for a couple or a family. Owners live on property if you need anything. If you are a bit adventurous, we can put up a tent right next to Lake Superior. The entire property is smoke free. For a quiet stay, no snowmobiles or ATVs.

Lakeside cabin on pristine Diamond Lake in the heart of the Chequamegon National Forest area just outside of Cable, Wisconsin. The Birkebeiner cross country ski trail and scores of other mountain biking, hiking, and snowmobiling trails are close by plus other public recreation opportunities (hunting, snowshoeing, bird watching, etc) abound in the nearby National Forest lands. Several other lakes, including Lake Namekagon and Lake Owen, are nearby for your boating and fishing pleasure.

The Perry Pines Yurt is a 4-season yurt on Perry Lake less than 2 miles from Cable. With quick access to CAMBA mountain bike trails (4 miles to the North End Trailhead), the Birkie Start Area (5 miles), and on an ATV route, it's a great basecamp for your outdoor activities. Sit on the deck and listen to the loons in the summer or warm up next to the woodstove or in the barrel sauna in the winter. Enjoy a full kitchen, bathroom w/shower, lake views, and a fun little unique cabin option!

Whole Cabin on the Trails!

Come visit our beautiful cabin in the woods. You will have access to Snowmobile and ATV trails right at the end of the driveway. After a long day on the trails, you can come home to a nice hot shower. We've seen deer and black bears passing through near the pond. You will see plenty of fish in our pond, however they are our pets. NO FISHING is allowed. Dogs welcome; no cats as I am very allergic. This cozy cabin is tucked away in the woods and offers an easy approach and spectacular lake views of Perch Lake in Winter, Wisconsin. It is a modern renovation of a summer fishing cabin, with its wood-clad walls, exposed beams, and large windows that deliver amazing sunrises.
