The Stables

Nestled away in Broadclyst, is our recently converted Stables. Just a 15-minute drive from Exeter City Centre and Supermarkets situated in a neighbouring village. The Stables is a few fields away from the local pub, enjoying wonderful countryside walks from the doorstep with Killerton Estate within walking distance. Sleeping 4-6 across two bedrooms, one a king and the other a twin/superking. A double sofa bed is available in living area.  Parking available, garden, BBQ and outside seating.

The Shippon. Unique luxurious South Devon getaway.

A calm, deeply luxurious space to recharge & reconnect. The Shippon is a meticulously converted cow barn with heated, polished concrete floors, gently curving deep green walls, hand-built kitchen, warmly lit reading nooks, & natural materials. Woollen blankets, feather sofa, antique Scandinavian log burner, king-size bed with French linen & down, waterfall shower, & the softest towels. Our sleepy Devon hamlet is only lit by stars at night. This lovely spacious cottage is adjacent to the owner's house, set in 3 acres of gardens and beautiful countryside in the heart of the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It's a great base for walking, cycling, touring, shopping, eating and drinking ...and curling up in front of the log fire. Sidbury village is a 20 min walk away. And Sidmouth, on the Jurassic Coast, is just a 4 mile drive. A few days at Filcombe will leave you relaxed, refreshed and keen to come back!

Shepherd’s hut near Sidmouth, dog friendly!

Set within your own private garden in the grounds of our farmhouse, the shepherd's hut provides an ideal countryside spot. The garden is fully fenced/walled so secure for dogs. Inside there is underfloor heating, so is warm and cosy. Close to the River Otter, with beautiful walks along the river and through ancient woodland, plus the East Devon Footpath passing along the lane outside. There are local pubs to walk to and just a 10 minute drive from the seaside town of Sidmouth.

Higher Allercombe Guest House is an extension of our house, meaning we live under the same roof, but you have sole occupancy of the guest house, separated by a locked internal door, separate private entrance and outdoor eating area. It has king size and double ensuite bedrooms and a superking or twin ensuite room. There are internet TVs in each bedroom and the lounge with Amazon Prime, Disney + and good Wifi.
