The outside of the property boasts a beautiful pond and dock to have a relaxing place to sit and enjoy the sunshine and fresh air. At the cabin, you can listen to the sounds of nature as you take in the scenic valley views of Big Bottom and the mountain views of Scott’s Gulf State Park.

There is an additional outdoor space converted from an old barn into a hangout space with a porch swing, dining table, string lights, grill, and extra seating. A fantastic place to relax!

We welcome you to our country cabin, a wonderful place for a couple’s getaway or quiet corner all to yourself. Enjoy the clean, country air and starry night skies away from city lights; on a quiet, low traffic road facing woods and farmland with field, pond, and forest behind. We are just across the field from a working dairy farm and less than a mile from the dairy farm store and creamery where you can find fresh meat, eggs, milk, and some of the country’s best hand-dipped ice cream!

Perched on the edge of a cliff, this cabin offers incredible views of Byrd Creek below. The generous deck high above the ground, amidst towering trees and forest fauna is the perfect place to relax and get back to nature. The cabin does not have a kitchen, bathroom or AC. A short minute walk along a historic moss covered wagon trail brings you to an outdoor kitchen and clean bathhouse. Several large ceiling fans and insulation keeps the cabin comfortable in summer.
