Almost off-grid, it has a comfy bed, central woodburner and spectacular view. It's the perfect stepping stone towards the full off-grid experience, intended for people who are curious about living the off-grid lifestyle but also like to be able to charge their phone, boil a kettle and have a hot shower! Our cosy & compact Shepherds hut is situated near to the stunning NC500, 20 minutes from the town of Tain, where all amenities can be found. The hut offers a warm & comfortable place to relax & unwind. Our hut caters for 2, with a king sized bed, ensuite shower room, kitchen area and a wood burning stove. Outside, there is seating & open views. Situated in an area of natural beauty you will find yourself surrounded by stunning scenery, mountains, forests & beaches all waiting to be explored.

Foulis Castle, Evanton is near the ancient burgh of Dingwall. Foulis Castle is a 15 min walk away from the Storehouse Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore/beach of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat, 9-5pm). You’ll love my place because of privacy of having your own country retreat within beautifully landscaped gardens. My place is small with one bedroom that contains either x2 singles or zip&link super-king size bed. The 3rd guest is on a roll-away mattress ideal for a child.

A bothy bedroom in the heart of the Cairngorms

Connected to the old cruck barn this is a compact, cosy, self contained bedroom. It’s set on one side of the courtyard with separate key access so you can come and go at will. If you love the outdoors, we think you will love it here. We have spectacular views of the Cairngorms, with excellent walks from the door. Rustic, with loads of character, the room has a comfy king size bed and en suite bathroom with shower. If you need mod cons or lots of space this may not be the place for you!

The perfect stop for those interested in walking, cycling or wildlife. This quiet and tranquil cottage is surrounded by magnificent scenery and wide-open spaces. In Sutherland you can enjoy fantastic beaches, distilleries, castles, golf courses, and much more.

Sanitizer and hand soap provided. Take your own bedding or very basic bedding provided. No phone signal/WiFi. Beautiful stone built bothy dating back to 19th century. Lovingly restored with original stonework around a cosy wood burner. We offer outstanding views across the Kyle of Sutherland and are situated in quiet countryside. The Bothy has a small kitchen (with limited cooking e.g. Airfryer ), bathroom with shower and use of laundry facilities if required. . We are situated 1 hour North of Inverness and only 1 hour from Ullapool on the stunning NC500 route. BBQ and charcoal provided.
