Find your home away from home in our quaint cottage nestled between the River Barrow and The Grand Canal. Take a stroll or cycle along the famous 46km stretch of The Barrow Blueway or cast your fishing rod into the world of coarse fishing on the Grand Canal. Why not take a walk into town across the Aqueduct and visit some of our favourites such as Mooneys & Brennans or snuggle up to a log burning stove. The local Kids playground is a 5 minute stroll away should the kids need some play time.

The Gate lodge Cottage at Emo Court

The Gate lodge at Emo Court is a beautiful old stone cottage at the old gates to Emo Court, it is surrounded by woodland walks. A minute walk to the centre of Emo village where there is a shop/post office/country pub/Italian restaurant and church. Free entry to Emo Court gardens and lake walk . You can take a tour ( small fee)of this historic property . CaToCa Fine food and giftware is also at Emo Court where you can enjoy there award winning tea rooms open daily 10am to 6pm and Giftshop.
