OAH 1870 Oldest Alesund House

Welcome to OAH-1870, the oldest surviving house in Ålesund’s city center – a charming cultural treasure built in 1870. This unique home withstood the devastating fire of 1904, preserving not only its original character but also a true piece of local history. A whole island for yourself with a cute cabin for two people with the basic necessities and direct access to the Atlantic Ocean. You can catch fish, spot eagles and sea-otters, watch the endless sunset and be directly in nature undisturbed by the modern world. A small rowing boat is included. Eller bare sitte på verandaen å nyte utsikten og se cruisebåtene seile forbi. Hytten er et perfekt utgangspunkt for toppturer sommer som vinter i vakre Rauma med sine majestetisk fjell. Kort vei til flotte Skorgedalen med skitrekk oppkjørte løyper om vinteren. Bilvei helt frem og parkering på tomten.

Idyllic fjord apartment near Ålesund

Enjoy the peaceful setting of this idyllic home with magnificent views of Storfjorden, which runs all the way to Geiranger, which is an 80km drive away from us. We are located 40 minutes from Vigra Airport and 30 minutes from Ålesund. The popular viewpoint Rampestreken at Åndalsnes is just one hour's drive, and scenic Trollstigen 1.5 hours from our location. There are plenty of local hikes in the area, and a scenic golf course just ten minutes away.

Koselig eldre laftet tømmerhytte på gårdstun leies ut. Grei standard. Komplett med kjøkkenutstyr. Lite bad med wc, vask, dusjkabinett og vaskemaskin. Hytta har dobbeltseng på soverom, og køyeseng i sovealkove. Kort vei til Molde sentrum, ca. 15 km og ca. 40 km til Åndalsnes. Liten nærbutikk og busstopp ca 150 meter fra hytta. Kort vei til sjøen med badestrand (ca 200 meter). Ta gjerne kontakt med verten dersom behov for tidligere innsjekking!

Modern cabin with spectacular view of the fjord and sea. Sunshine (if lucky) until 10:30 pm in the summer. Big terrace with a gas grill for eating out. Distance to Molde centre 10-12 minutes by car. We have a small boat w/10 HP engine in the nearby Marina Saltrøa, around 5 minutes walk from the cabin, which can be used for free if the weather conditions are good enough. Just pay for the gasolin. Fishing gear at your disposal at the cabin.

Hytta er 60m2 og romslig. 2 soverom med mulighet for 2 barn på lav hems.
