The Lewes Nook

The Lewes Nook is a peaceful, stylish self-contained annex just 2 minutes walk from the South Downs and 25 minute walk from central Lewes. It offers a private entrance, off-street parking with EV charger, lockable bike store, wet room, full kitchen with washing machine and dishwasher, TV, and writing desk. The cosy bedroom opens onto a guest terrace under a Magnolia tree. A calm, relaxing space - perfect for enjoying the cultural highlights of Lewes, Brighton and the South Downs National Park.

Step outside to gentle ripples, watch wildlife, or visit East Hoathly village with its café, shop, and pub just minutes away.

A gloriously secluded Shepherds Hut close to Lewes

Orchard Hut is a secluded and very private shepherd's hut fitted to a high standard, and situated in a gloriously peaceful meadow setting away from any road noise. The meadow is rich in wildlife and there are views to the South Downs that can be enjoyed from the hammock or the wood fired hot tub.The hut sits just outside the South Downs National Park, 3 miles from Lewes and 5 miles to Glyndebourne. There is direct access to a myriad of public footpaths with a good choice of stunning walks.

Our cosy container is a beautiful sun trap, attached to our family racing yard. You’re in the perfect location for business or pleasure. footpaths a short walk away. The bottom of the downs a five minute drive and a handful of pubs all within a 5mile radius. Plumpton station a 2 minute drive you can be in London within the hour.

Romantic retreat

Spa with hot tub and sauna all heated via a log burner for the ultimate retreat break. Guest house in large gardens, king sized bed, small kitchen and en-suite. Many local attractions near Brighton Gatwick Airport and the South Downs! Pull out double sofa bed, works well for smaller family’s. Stunning 25 meter swimming pond, water is crystal clear. Large deck and sun-loungers by the swimming pond. We use the garden too, it’s part of our home but there is plenty of opportunity for privacy.

The Garden Room

The annex is a detached building with a key safe and separate entrance situated in a very quiet part of the historic county town of Lewes. There is very little passing traffic and as we’re on the outskirts it’s about a 20 mins walk to the centre of the town but are very close to the South Downs, a 5 minute walk away and the gateway to the South Down way and the National Park. (Smoking only allowed outside) Close to Brighton and good access to public transport and a main line to London.

The Swifts Garden House

Beautifully designed annex in secret walled garden in centre of Lewes, with own separate entrance. Owned and created by local furniture designer, this is a calm and relaxed space. King size bed or two singles on request. Please speak to us for any other requirements i.e baby cot or single child mattress. Coffee, tea and all linen provided. Simple granola breakfast included. Fridge for your use with drinks at additional cost. Conservatory with chairs and table and outdoor seating area.
