Spend your days fishing, scalloping or swimming. The master bedroom boasts a king- sized bed while the second bedroom offers flexibility with a twin over full bed and additional twin perfect for families or friends traveling together. The screened patio gives shade from a long day on the water or relax and play games downstairs.

Papa Joe’s Lake House

Quiet little piece of heaven on earth. Enjoy the lake, sit by a fire, enjoy the nature God has provided in our sanctuary on Pickett Lake. Boat ramp is 100 yards down the road. 4 kayaks, canoe, and paddleboard are provided, all of which can be launched from the house. Fish from the dock or explore the lake. Use the grill or take a short drive to Branford or Mayo and enjoy some of the restaurants. Come boat, fish, or swim in the lake or just enjoy the lake view. Outdoor fire pit includes wood.

The newly remodeled Cypress Crab Cottage is a quaint little cottage with 1 bed and 1 bath, tile floors, ceiling fans, & vaulted ceiling. A full kitchen with gas stove is now installed. A queen size bed, closet, full bath, & a leather sleeper (queen) couch round out the inside. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, pedestal sink & elongated toilet. Outside is a grill with a side burner. A large, screened porch with picnic table, outdoor seating, lights & fan. Private circular drive.

Enjoy the day out on the water and come home to a beautifully decorated home. Dish Sattelite TV is available in both the Living Room and the Family Room. Both TVs are Roku. Relax on the covered back deck, bring some charcoal and grill out or just sit around the firepit and tell fish stories. We hope you love it as much as we do.

Comfortable for the entire crew in this NEW 3 bedroom / 2 full-bath home in the heart of the Steinhatchee action. Exactly 1-mile from the boat ramp. Boat Parking directly in front of the house, visible and safe at all times! Wifi is available within the house for streaming when not taking advantage of the outdoor activities. Note: For prior guests, the Floating Dock sustained damage during hurricane, message us before hand for an update if dock is needed.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway located along the upper Steinhatchee River. Located down a dead end road in the woods. Across the river is Conservation Land so you will hear lots of birds, crickets, owls, and frogs. If your lucky you may even spot deer, wild boar, bobcats, otter, gators or manatee. This is a natural "Old Florida " environment complete with critters and bugs. Bug spray is recommended when outdoors in the warmer months.
