Little House on the Hill - Gorge Getaway Home Base

This little house started life as a woodworking shop. When we outgrew it, we made it into a guest house. It may be imperfect, but it's perfectly adorable. We have a peek of Mt. Hood from the yard and lovely territorial views. At night, you can enjoy the beauty of a Milky Way sky far from city light pollution. Come. Enjoy. Relax. Lounge on the deck and listen to the river echo off the canyon wall or drive 10 minutes to world class hiking, gorge sports, vineyards, breweries, restaurants. River trails right out the door for walking, fishing, kayaking. Great spot for foraging, wildlife sitings and star gazing. Furnished kitchen, BBQ on the deck, super comfy bed. A double wide trailer home located 1mile from 76/BirdShack/DQ in the town of Goldendale, sets on 10 acre lot with pond. We have 5 koi fish in here, no fishing, no swimming is allowed. No skating during winter month where pond is icy and sleek. Golf cart is temporarily out of order. 3 bedrooms, has 2 queen bed and 1 full bed. Has 2 bathrooms. Entire kitchen is functional, spices, oven, fridge, coffeemaker, toaster, microwave etc. Bar height dining table and chairs seats six people.

Charming and Eclectic Historic Red House

You are invited to stay in a Klickitat County landmark, listed on both the state and federal registers of historic places. The Red House built for the ‘Horse King of the Northwest’ Charles Newell and his wife Mary in 1890, is now a distinctive vacation rental. The Red House’s three stories are furnished with art, antique/vintage finds, colored glass windows, original ornamental trim, fresh linens and comfortable beds. The house is well equipped and designed for relaxing.

Cabin 43 on the White Salmon River

Cabin 43 is a new home we built ourselves located right on the wild and scenic White Salmon river. We finished this project (June, 2020) and are excited to share this beautiful place with guests. It features a King bed in 1 room and 2 twin beds in the 2nd bedroom which can be pushed together to make a 2nd king bed. We live in a cluster of 8 other cabins down gravel road in a very serene forest setting with a large field out front and private river side walking trails.

Enjoy the starry sky on our spacious deck, or a slow savoring of Pinot from a nearby vineyard.

The Overlook House with amazing view!

We chose to share our guesthouse primarily because the idea of sharing our stunning view appeals to us very much. We are so fortunate to have a view so special that we wanted to build a guesthouse for our friends and you! We designed our 600 square foot modern guesthouse with the intent of creating a very private honeymoon suite. It has expansive views of Hood River, Mt Hood, and our favorite view, looking directly down the gorge.

Coyote Cabin

Coyote Cabin is a very small cozy home in a secluded area of Trout Lake. We are about a half hour from the Columbia River Gorge at the base of Mount Adams. We are close to the beautiful Lewis River falls, Ice Caves, cheese caves, white water rafting along with many trails to hike. The cabin is on our 5 acres along with the main residence. We enjoy meeting our guest but respect your privacy so we stay at our place with our 2 dogs.
