Tranquil Cabins Studios are in the piney woods in Winona, TX, near Tyler, just 2 hours from DFW. Dogwood Cabin on Scenic Wooded Mossbridge Farm

Our two cabins Dogwood and Holly are located on a quiet, wooded 10 acre retreat that is 8 miles from Athens. Our special feature is a spring fed creek that flows year round and has it's own micro climate that is perfect for native ferns, mixed hardwood forest and dogwoods. We have provided a nature trail for bird watching and exercise. Recently we designed and constructed a beautiful pond with three waterfalls and a deck overhanging the water with chairs for enjoying our private paradise.

Cozy wood cabin in the country

My cozy, 1,000 square foot cabin is located on 13 acres of quiet, wooded, private property. The main home is also located on this property. Landscape features include a pond and many trees. There also is a handicapped ramp attached to the back entry, which is where you will enter the cabin. There is a porch with a porch swing and outdoor chairs to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the country lifestyle. Also, there is an outdoor fire pit you can use to warm up by or make s’mores.

The Firefly Guesthouse- Quiet Lakeside Retreat

A unique cabin in the woods, just 20 minutes from Canton First Monday. Our lakeside guesthouse is a wonderful respite tucked away from the hustle of the city. Charming surroundings for an unforgettable girls retreat, or leave the husband here to fish while you shop! Sleep in a silo or on the screened sleeping porch as the coyotes howl. Maybe I'm a little partial, but I really have to pinch myself when I go visit Callie's cottage. Imagine...a beautiful country road, quiet except for the occasional sound of a cow. A cottage tucked into an abundance of trees, wrap around porch, flagstone firepit area, patio lights strung across the yard, antique mantle with gas fire, crystal chandelier, beadboard from an 1800's farmhouse, a tub big enough for two, the lushest bedding, classical music plays, sweets served. Deep sigh.

Outdoor fire pit gathering area with hammock, swings, darts, and corn hole, Alarm / Radio, games, TV, DVD player, DVDs, books, charcoal grill, a wood fireplace, double propane hotplate, toaster oven, microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator, coffee, and popcorn provided.

3 bed room house with old ship-lap walls and rustic charm. Originally moved to this location in 1945 and remodeled in 2020. This quiet gem is only minutes from lake Tawakoni. Central AC, ceramic tile shower with river rock base. Relaxing full size bed in the 2nd bed room and King in the master bedroom. Plenty of sitting room in the living room to relax and unplug. Deep porcelain tub with pedestal sink in the second bath, perfect for a bubble bath.
