This newly built, spacious and stylish one bedroom cottage is set in the picture perfect village of Brightwell-cum-Sotwell, located in South Oxfordshire. Peaceful and private it is brilliantly located for tranquil walks, or exploring the history of nearby Wallingford or Oxford. Airy and spacious, the cottage is well equipped and modern. We are located just a few minutes' walk from the banks of the beautiful River Thames in the heart of the Oxfordshire countryside. The Historic Market Town Abingdon-on -Thames is only a ten-minute walk away. The city of Oxford is eight miles away, to which there are excellent bus links. Enjoy Abingdon exploring its lovely gardens, historic buildings, walks and splendid array of independent business’s. Or venture in to the University City of Oxford, a city steeped in history and culture.

The Potting Shed - boutique countryside hideout

A charming rustic retreat with cosy living area & a luxurious bedroom and shower room. The Potting Shed oozes with the charm of the Soho Farmhouse style. Full of character, this unique place blends rustic charm with relaxed, modern comfort — the perfect place to unwind and relax for a romantic countryside break. There are great local pubs in the local area that serve food most days (please check) but there is a very well equipped kitchen should you like to cook for yourselves.

Acklings Studio

The Studio is in the country side at the edge of the village in a rural environment. Ideal for 2-3 people and their pets. Cycling distance to Didcot, and parking on premises is possible. You might hear our roosters and hens, and may benefit from a fresh egg or two. Secluded entry and court yard, 1-2 rooms with double bed and bed sofa. Ensuite bathroom and fully equipped kitchenette, including a washer/dryer. Large pet flap into the court yard. Outside dining area and bike shed.

Modern, rural, private studio flat

Modern studio with comfy Ikea bed, fully fitted kitchen including dishwasher, fridge/freezer, oven and hob, toaster, kettle, microwave and a Nespresso coffee machine. There is free wifi and full Sky TV with Netflix. There is also full central heating. The studio is in a beautiful rural location well away from our historic house. So visitors may come and go as they please. There is ample parking directly in front of the studio. We are 10 minutes drive from Didcot Parkway station.

This is a charming, open plan, self-contained studio in a quiet location in a beautiful Oxfordshire village. It boasts a work station, furnished with ultrafast 300mb/s broadband, a table with 2 chairs, a home cinema (with screen and projector including Netflix and SMART TV), bluetooth HiFi and an exceptionally cosy loft double bed, plus modern kitchenette, bathroom and living area with two-seater sofa. Your welcome pack includes milk, tea & coffee, and breakfast items.

Relax and reset at the Pool House. The Pool House provides a quiet location where you can relax away from the world. Swim in our pool, heated during the warmer months. During the colder months enjoy a cold plunge, beneficial for body and mind. Ease your aches and muscles in the hot tub. Please note: you are using the pool and hot tub at your own risk, there is no life guard! Please watch children and non swimmers in the pool and hot tub at all times.
