The Little Birdhouse

Graded 5 Star by Tourism NI, our tiny cottage dates from the 1700s. Its name is both a nod to Bird Island on Strangford Lough and a reflection of our aim to create a cosy nest in which guests feel snug, comfy and relaxed. Nestled in the heart of the scenic Cooley Mountains, our 3 bedroom home is ready to welcome new visitors. Home is ideally located to the M1 motorway, The Ballymascanlon Hotel and Golf Resort, The Lumpers Bar aswell as a variety of beaches and restaurants of choice. Dundalk town is approximately 12 minute drive away. Other things to note: Mini market and pharmacy is approximately 3 minute drive away located at McCrystals XL Supermarket, all grocery and essentials are available.

Rathlin View Cottage Ballycastle overlooks the sea

This charming, traditional Irish cottage has been fully restored and is uniquely situated on an outcrop of rock. It has a walled garden which is washed on two sides by the sea. It has a stunning location, with breathtaking views out over the sea to Fair Head, Rathlin Island, Kenbane and the Scottish coast. The new conservatory, is an additional feature for guests to enjoy the magnificent views. The cottage accommodates four and has an open fire and oil fired central heating.

Port Cottage Carlingford

This beautiful little cottage is close to the village centre and is perfect for couples looking a relaxing trip. The stunning views can be enjoyed on the deck along with the hot tub. The hot tub is available at a cost of 30 euro please advise day before as it takes time to fill and heat up. We also offer bike hire and BBQ hire. Must be Paid prior to arrival and notice given to switch on. Christmas/New year Holidays and all bank holidays are 20 percent extra

Derrycaw Cottage

Our cottage is situated on approx 7 acres of land with plenty of wide open space. All of the rooms are spacious and light. We have 2 recreational rooms, the lounge has a real log burning fire with plenty of logs and our dining room has sky lights and a large flat tv. The cottage is situated at the bottom of a long and private drive with parking for 10-12cars. Just 5 minutes drive to the motorway and local amenities. Sorry but we don't allow pets.
