Stable Studio at Airlie Castle

A bright and comfortable open-plan space on the first floor of the old stable block on the Airlie estate, in the spectacular Angus Glens. High beamed ceilings give a spacious feel to the main room. Everything here is made from Douglas Fir ply, including walls, floor and furniture. It'll feel very cosy here at night with the lamps lit, the wood fire and the large bed with feather pillows and wool blankets. The loo and bathroom are down 4 steps, please note no dividing door. Minimum stay 1 night.

The Cairn has a comfortable lounge, well-equipped kitchen, one bedroom with ensuite shower and toilet, an enclosed garden with field views and easy access to adjacent woodland.

Equally beautiful in all seasons especially winter being so very cozy, it is fully heated with lots of hot water for the freestanding bath for two. Woodview is B-listed and sits in peaceful Kinnettles, part of a historic terrace where every cottage keeps its traditional door by law! 5 minutes from Glamis Castle, the Angus Glens are on the doorstep. Dogs are welcome, and as the cottage is all on one level it suits everyone. It has thick stone walls and cosy period charm with a woodburning stove, modern kitchen, fast wifi and beds for 4. Beautiful riverside walk right outside!

A twenty minute drive takes you into the Angus glens which boast some of the best walking and climbing destinations in Scotland. Dundee is half-an-hour's drive south and Aberdeen an hour's drive northwards.

The Great Hall, Dollarbeg Castle

This 2 bedroom apartment is the beautifully converted former Great Hall of Dollarbeg Castle. Built in 1890, Dollarbeg Castle was the last gothic baronial style building of its type ever built. Beautifully restored in 2007 to the very highest standards, it was converted into 10 luxury properties, one of which is a conversion of the original "Great Hall" with its vaulted ceiling and majestic views across the formal grounds towards the Ochil Hills in the distance.
