Access to a magnesium pool off a deck. Guests can sit on the deck and take in the serenity and the local wildlife. Within walking distance is a swimming hole and a tropical winery.

Jum Rum Place, Kuranda QLD

Kuranda, home to the Indigenous Djabugay people is tucked away within an ancient Rainforest. Jum Rum Place is located only 1.6km from the Kuranda village, North Queensland backing onto Jum Rum Creek Conservation Park where there are numerous species of birds, Striped possums, Suger Gliders, Pademelons with abundance of butterflies including the Ulysses and Cairns Bird Wing. The beautiful Jum Rum Creek Walking Track is close by which takes you into the Kuranda Village, only a 15 minute walk.

Please note that Ramada is at the quiet end of Port Douglas - it is about 10 minutes to the town centre by car or shuttle bus.

It is completely separate from the main dwelling for your privacy & ours. It boasts pretty rainforest views. Quiet on street parking. Free ladies bicycle to use during your stay.

Apartment 5 minutes drive to village centre.

Located in a quiet tropical complex the apartment is fully equipped with all you will need including washing machine and a huge 85” TV with loads of streaming channels to watch. Apartment is located within walking distance to 4 Mile Beach, bottle shop, fish n chip shop and renown St Crispins Cafe. The village is a short bus ride away with buses leaving every 10 minutes from across the road at the Ramada Resort. Push bikes can be made available for your use on request.

A local shuttle bus leaves Ramada reception every 30 minutes which can drop you off where ever you like in town. Reception can can also help with booking any activities and tours.
