Surrounded by farmland and Dublin mountains. The rooms are bright, welcoming, and homely. Guests access the accommodation through its own private entrance. We are conveniently located to Dublin as well as Dublin Airport and just a short drive to the LUAS (Tram) line with park & ride facilities servicing Dublin City Centre.

Riverside Cottage

Find your home away from home in our quaint cottage nestled between the River Barrow and The Grand Canal. Take a stroll or cycle along the famous 46km stretch of The Barrow Blueway or cast your fishing rod into the world of coarse fishing on the Grand Canal. Why not take a walk into town across the Aqueduct and visit some of our favourites such as Mooneys & Brennans or snuggle up to a log burning stove. The local Kids playground is a 5 minute stroll away should the kids need some play time.

The Coach House

The Coach house has recently been lovingly restored and is full of charm and light. It has a calm, tranquil feel with every comfort a visitor could wish for. It is the perfect place for an Irish getaway nestled on the shores of Blessington lake and surrounded by the majestic Wicklow Mountains. Within 10 mins there are the villages of Ballymore Eustace and Hollywood both with wonderful Gastro-pubs and Blessington for all shopping. Russborough House is also close by and is truly worth visiting.

It is 40 min drive from Dublin city centre, a direct bus (65) to Dublin, 5 min to Blessington Lakes & Avon-Ri Greenway, & the historic Russborough House

Daars North Cottage in the Countryside

Daars North Cottage is located in the peaceful countryside 3 miles from Straffan, Clane and Sallins Village. The cottage is compact and clean with two double rooms and a single room. The Cottage is very secure set behind our main house. As the cottage is based at our home we would be delighted to help out with local knowledge and places of interest. Easily accessible from Dublin (30 mins) by train and bus service (50 mins). We have 3 friendly dogs here so unfortunately NO Dogs allowed

Located in the pretty village of Kilcullen, this special home provides the perfect base from which to explore Kildare, Dublin, Wicklow.m and the southeast. The guest suite is both light in the day and cosy at night. Attached to the main house but with own entrance. Rural mountainous area. Within 20mins you will be in Glendalough with incredible walks like The Spinc. Russborough House and Parklands is 15 mins drive away. Delicious food can be found all with in 15 mins, The Hollywood Inn, The Ballymore Inn and The Poulaphouca House and Falls. Hollywood has a gorgeous cafe and flower shop offering beautiful gifts.

Suitable for race goers, shopaholics or those seeking a relaxing break in the countryside close to walks and a cosy pub. Families with young children are most welcome. We can provide a range of baby/toddler equipment on request and a spacious garden for your enjoyment.

This well appointed annex known as the 'West Wing’ can be part of or separate from the main ‘Curragh Stud House’ with its own entrance and private space.
