The Pool Pavilion is a cosy and relaxed two suites and kitchen space that overlooks a lush garden and is the ideal choice for a joyful and relaxing getaway. Appointed to a high standard with simple yet sophisticated materials, such as micro cement flooring , stucco walls and linen curtains, and decorated in soothing natural colours, it blends harmoniously with its surroundings. Large patio doors lead out onto a spacious, private garden with wood decking, a heated pool, sun loungers and table.

Casa da Encosta - Hillside cabin near the sea

Casa da Encosta is located in the picturesque Aldeia do Penedo, on the hills of Sintra facing the Atlantic. The nearby beaches (Adraga, Praia Grande, Praia das Maçãs and others) are just 5 km away. This two bedroom house (plus a mezzanine) dates from the 1930’s and was passionately renovated in 2023 by Katrin Kaasa and Duarte Amaral Netto, your hosts. The house maintains the spirit of a cabin (low ceiling in the kitchen and some doors) but was carefully designed for comfort and stylish details.

The container unit is private only for you. Its entrance is via the the subroom. Our apartment is located between Ajuda Palace and Belém Palace, with all kinds of shops, restaurants and transports nearby. We have two spacious terraces with a fantastic river view where you can have your meals and enjoy a beautiful sunset! We are 10 minutes walking distance from Belém and its main points of interest. In Belém you can also take the train to Cascais beaches and bus or tram to Cais do Sodré and Baixa (Downtown).
