Dog Friendly Farmhouse with Shared Swimming Pool

What used to be the original Farmhouse when Knockerdown was a working farm, has now been converted into a 5 bedroom holiday cottage sleeping up to 12 guests, making it an ideal property for family or friends to get together. Also, being dog friendly it sleeps up to 2 well behaved dogs. Enclosed walled garden with outdoor seating, with access to the indoor heated communal swimming pool. In easy walking distance to the beautiful Carsington Water where you can sample the many water sports on offer.

The Tree Cabin

The heated tree cabin is set within a small secluded wood up a steep path. Cedar lined, insulated and oak clad it cantilevers out over a remote mill pond. Wake up in a tranquil heaven only shared with shy wildlife, including deer, hare, the odd badger and a variety of birds. In the cabin are a king-size plus bed, table and chairs, kitchen area with induction plate, microwave oven & toaster. Your own smaller tree cabin, a few trees away, houses a flushing toilet and hand basin with spring water.

The one-bedroom apartment is located in a self-contained wing of a listed farmhouse. Oak beams, flag floors, with every modern convenience. The en-suite bedroom can sleep up to 2 (plus a cot) and 1 pet; the apartment has a fully equipped, fitted, modern kitchen/dining/living area and a patio with car parking space. A swimming pool with sauna is available to book at extra charge. We can not guarantee availability of pool slots less than 2 weeks before the booking.
