Acerca de 4 km para Norte, a partir da cidade da Horta, fica a Praia do Almoxarife. No espaço " a moagem" há vida em cada recanto, no jardim existe uma cisterna d' água e uma eira. Apresenta uma arquitetura de traça tradicional, que remonta ao início do século passado. N' a moagem pratica-se uma filosofia com base no tradicional e sustentável. É constituído por: apartamento, jardim, atelier de artesanato, quinta com animais, hortícolas, frutícolas e sementes de variedades tradicionais.

Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es in ca. 2 Km Entfernung.

Look forward to a fantastic, unobstructed view of the wide Atlantic Ocean and the neighboring island of Pico with Portugal's highest mountain "Montanha do Pico", 2,351m. The jewel of the house is the large conservatory, wich is glazed on 3 sides inluding the roof, and which might be better be called a summer garden.

At Quinta do Torcaz we preserve a quiet and bucolic environment with our beautiful garden and orchard. We also organize tours to show you the charming beauty of Faial Island. The minimum age for our guests is 12 years old, documents such as a passport will be requested to confirm age.
