Lottie's Cottage is in the quiet village of Rhynie with Tap o'Noth a stone's throw away it is ideal for everyone including walkers and cyclists to explore the Cabrach, Whisky, Castle and Pictish stone trails plus other attractions. The cottage offers contemporary comfort - open plan stylish living room and kitchen, luxurious bathroom (walk-in shower) and 2 quality bedrooms. The garden offers eating/drinks outside and a shed to store bicycles etc. Parking is on the road in front of the cottage.

Light the log burner, cook supper in the quirky kitchen and sleep peacefully in pure linen sheets. Hot water bottles provided!

The Tower, Thornton Castle

Traditional & relaxed accommodation in the 16th century Scottish tower of our family home. Accessed by a spiral staircase your space comprises 2 bedrooms for 4 people over two floors in a private wing of the castle with bathroom and small sitting room. Full breakfast included. Set in the foothills of the Cairngorm National Park, this is an ideal stop off between Inverness and Edinburgh. Balmoral Castle, Dunnottar Castle, Glamis Castle and St Andrews are nearby. Tennis court available.

Unique turret annex in Upper Donside

Our bright yellow Broom now out! Situated in the Cairngorms National Park in Strathdon, a short walk away from the hamlet of Bellabeg. The Turret offers a tranquil setting in 2.5 acres of private woodland, it has its own entrance and is a self-contained totally sound insulated annex to the main house (where the owners live). The setting has spectacular south facing views of the Deeside hills and is surrounded by farmland and wildlife. Completely off the beaten track with glorious dark skies.

Below a pond and tucked behind a hedgerow on the edge of a permaculture smallholding, our charming shepherds hut is the perfect hideaway for those looking for an eco farm stay or self-made retreat. 'Muggans' (named after the Mugwort that grows by the steps) is entirely off-grid and has everything you'll need for a comfortable and memorable getaway, including a wood burning stove to keep you cozy, a wood fired hot tub to soak in under the stars and pizza oven for luxury campfire cooking.

Guthrie's Den, Banff. Coastal, sea view retreat

Enjoy the beautiful, ever-changing views from your coastal town hideaway over Banff harbour and bay and across to Macduff. Chill out on the windowseat and just watch the waves roll in. Fresh milk, bread and a few treats await in the welcome pack. The kitchen is fully equipped, and there is lots of hot water for a relaxing bath or shower. There are books, games, fast broadband and Netflix. A short stroll takes you to your choice of two fantastic sandy beaches or in to historic Banff.

The Farm Bothy Cottage

The Farm Bothy cottage offers luxury accommodation on a working sheep farm. It is self-contained, within a modern steading/barn conversion. We live in the other wing of the house. You can explore the farm, woodlands and our garden. Ideally located for visiting nearby castles and distilleries the area also has great cycling, golfing, fishing and horse-riding. Our local pub is a mile away. The nearest town, Alford, has a pub, restaurant, shops, supermarket, parks and museums.

Ballintober, Glenmuick Estate

Ballintober is a magical woodland cottage in the heart of the Glenmuick estate and provides the perfect base from which to explore Royal Deeside. This beautifully renovated cottage has three Double/Twin Bedrooms with a Bathroom, open plan Kitchen/Dining Room, Sitting Room and separate Shower Room. The Sitting Room has a cosy open fireplace, WiFi and a Digital TV with DVD player. All heating, linen, towels and logs are provided. A Cot and High Chair can be provided on request.

The Bothy

'The Bothy', a space to escape the bustle - set in private gardens and with scope to explore our meadow, small woodland and wildlife pond. The Bothy is laid out as studio style accomodation with a double bed, small kitchen area and a separate shower room, with porta potty style facilities! If you time your visit right (seasonal) guests are welcome to pick their own raspberries, blackcurrants, or apples. Other home-grown produce may be available. Bedding and towels provided.

Rural Cabin with spectacular views

Situated high above the banks of Loch Park, Dufftown, with views of the Cairngorms to the south-west and Drummuir Castle to the East. It's entirely off-grid allowing you to relax and unwind in a quiet and secluded location. The cabin sleeps two, with a cosy bed in the mezzanine, a shower room, open plan sitting and kitchenette and balcony with spectacular views over the loch below. Dufftown is 3.5 miles , Keith is 7 miles and the village of Drummuir 1.5 miles

Nochty Studio |Strathdon |Cairngorms National Park

A place to get away, relax and enjoy the natural surroundings! Nochty Studio is a eco cabin located on the edge of the small village of Bellabeg in the Cairngorm National Park, in close proximity to Ballater, Braemar, Royal Deeside and on the edge of Moray. The Studio is on the east side of Glen Nochty enjoying open views of the Nochty River and the Doune of Invernochty. The village itself is a 5 minute walk away, with a local shop.
