Walk up the road for several river road crossing and more crystal clear water to explore. Cook at home in the well equipped kitchen or drive 15 minutes to Leakey to dine at many of the local restaurants. Slow down and enjoy the sunset sets, moon rises and stars on the front porch in a comfortable rocker while watching the hummingbirds!

"Amadeo" is a secluded 9 acre get away on Saddle Mountain all to yourself, not shared. 2 cabins with 2 full baths & glorified outhouse/shower by salt water pool & spa. Outdoor lounging, covered dining areas, game area, star gazing by the fire pit. We are located 1 mile from river crossing, 5 mins from town, 10 mins from Garner. Beautiful sunsets and view of the hills, also hiking. Each cabin has queen bed, full loft, full futon couch, covered porches. We also love our guests’ fur babies!

Close by, you can enjoy floating or swimming in the Frio River and the Sabinal River at the Utopia Park. Utopia has a renowned golf course featured in the movie Seven Days in Utopia. Concan 20 miles away also has a golf course.

Texas on the Frio is a great place to escape and unwind. Nestled up on the bluff along the Frio River at the south end of the property at Crider's East Cabins. Beautiful river front access. The cabin sleeps 6 with 2 bedrooms with king size beds and the option to bring an inflatable mattress. 1 full bathroom with shower. There is a step up the shower and toilet. Fully furnished kitchen. Charming 100+ yr old ranch house on private acreage with great views. Large patio & fenced back yard are great for kids/pets. Excellent star gazing. Wildlife feeders. We use this home ourselves and have young kids, so it is stocked better than most rentals and (relatively) kid friendly. Near Lost Maples Park (less than 10 min), Garner Park (30 min), Utopia (10 min), Leakey (20 min), Medina (20 min).
