The Paper Mill Stables

Set in the beautiful grounds of a fifteenth century Wealden hall house, The Stables is a delightful oak framed cottage - a hidden-away and peaceful haven for two. There is a sitting room with woodburner for super cosy nights in, and the pretty bedroom has a luxurious 4000 pocket sprung king size bed, and quality Egyptian cotton linen. Outside is a secluded garden with a terrace, and seventy acres of woodland and pasture to wander through; our resident Labradors will be pleased to join you!

Wickham Manor - William Penn Wing

Our beautiful William Penn Wing comes with a lounge and two large rooms. The dining area does not have a kitchen but does include a fridge freezer, toaster, kettle, microwave, cutlery, crockery and seating. Upstairs you will find the William Penn Suite, a very large room with a sofa area and king sized four poster bed with en suite. Named after the founder of Pennsylvania who once lived here, It’s located in our 16th century country house, which is a 20 minute walk from the Beach.

Be a country person, garden lover, we are a 200 year old stable block is super light, with vaulted ceilings. A large sitting room, big bedroom, up a step to the kitchen/diner and bathroom. The newly fitted kitchen has sink, microwave, hob, and fridge/freezer. Mayfield village walks. Fo National Trust houses, castles, and the South Downs Small dogs welcome. The cottage overlooks the cutting gardens. A Private seating areas & wifi good for a working retreat! double sofa.

Holly Cottage is a charming, grade two listed cottage with lots of character and a cosy feel. It is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty in the village of Iden, East Sussex. The village store is a short walk away and is loved by locals. Rye Station and historic town with great shops/restaurants is a 7 minute drive, while Rye Harbour/Nature reserve or Camber Sands beach is a 15 minute drive. The wonderful Tillingham Winery/Vineyard is only an 8 minute drive away.
