Great cabin located directly on Tims Ford Lake. Cabin has been updated and includes nice, well stocked kitchen as well as a deck (with grill). Enjoy our dock - fish, swim and use our two kayaks, paddle board and a canoe. Plenty of space to tie your boat up to our dock in a mostly private cove. Close to some great attractions - Jack Daniels Distillery (19 mi), Bonnaroo (25 mi), Univ. of the South (19 mi), Winchester (5 mi)

It is a one-of-a-kind home and location for finding peace, solitude, and a cozy basecamp for enjoying nearby hiking: Sewanee Trail, Fiery Gizzard, Fall Creek Falls. Walk to the observation bench at the top of the biggest 50 ft waterfall. Follow the trail behind the falls. It does not border the lake but is surrounded by Tims Ford Lake and less than 5 minute drive to 3 boat docks and launches. Close to restaurants, shopping venues, hiking trails, water falls and golfing. Pool table, cornhole set, board games & cards in cabin. Visit historic Franklin County and surrounding areas.

The cabin is a 7 minute walk to the entrance of the Caverns if you're here to enjoy a show or to go on a cave tour. We are 6 miles from I-24 off exit 127. 1 hour to Nashville or Chattanooga and 10 miles to Sewanee or Monteagle.

The Coalmont is a 4 acre waterfront retreat on top of the South Cumberland Mountains of Tennessee, between Nashville and Chattanooga. This 460 sq ft "tiny" cabin sleeps up to 4. This modern, Scandinavian style cabin, sits on 20 private acres at a 1360 ft. elevation. The style sets it apart from other cabins. It is 13 miles from The Caverns concert venue (about a 20 minute drive). The cabin is close to Sewanee, which has many hiking trails and is home to The University of the South (about 7 miles from our cabin/ a 16 minute drive.) Other local hiking and recreation options include the South Cumberland State Park and Tims Ford State Park.

Special touches can be found throughout including Jacuzzi tub! Truly a unique wooded cottage, equipped to ensure a relaxing getaway. Pet friendly with an additional pet fee.

Clifftops cabin close to the front gate. Nearby lake, bluff view, waterfalls, hiking. Sewanee University 3-4 miles away. Chattanooga-30-45 min, Nashville-90 min. Important: the stairs leading to the loft are very steep so it’s probably not the best option for young children or the elderly. We do not allow for any pets on the property. During the winter months from Christmas to March, the washer/dryer will be unavailable due to freezing weather.
