Kingfisher enjoys a riverside setting located directly on the Coleridge Way, nestled in a valley between The Quantocks AONB and Exmoor National Park, Kingfishers & Otters reside on the river. Ideally suited to guests who like nature, the countryside and walking, there are no nightclubs. The West Somerset Heritage Steam Railway can be seen from the hut and is accesible. Kingfisher is located privately screened in our large garden surrounded by farmland and countryside. We welcome friendly guests

The hut is perfectly located for exploring over 150 miles of walking and mountain bike tracks through woodland and moorland. The Somerset coastline and Exmoor are a short drive away and there’s a good choice of local pubs known for their home-cooked food. Dogs are welcome 🐶

Our cosy waggon overlooks its own private valley, complete with 19th Century coachbridge and secluded wild swimming spot. Set in 25 acres of woodland and pasture, our waggon offers an opportunity to switch off, curl up with a book and get back to nature. It includes an ensuite with shower and its own kitchen.. Only 10 minutes away from Bruton, handy for The Newt and Hauser & Wirth. Westcombe Dairy & Woodsheddings Brewery taproom is a 3 minute walk and the Three Horseshoes a 20 minute stroll.

A beautiful hand built cabin nestled in the woods, idyllic setting next to a stream and surrounded by magnificent trees, the perfect place to immerse yourself in nature. Found at the end of an unmade track, with miles of nothing but woodland walks and wonderful hills to explore on foot or bike. Situated next to a stream with a glass bridge and beautiful little waterfall, with its own plunge pool. The hot shower and compost loo are set in a quirky horse box accessed across a board walk.

Whether sat outside soaking up the views in the sunshine, or snuggled up by the wood burner on a rainy day, The Green Hut is the ideal place to unwind.

Wrens House is a shepherds hut nestled in the Alham Valley, an area of re-wilding close to the fashionable towns of Bruton and Frome. We have an outdoor bath so what better way to cool down and relax. Included in your stay is our delicious breakfast. Want a place you can get back to nature? The coast is five minutes drive away. This area boasts one of the UK’s largest new wetland reserves, providing habitat for a mix of wetland wildlife, including otters, wildfowl, owls and waders, migrating birds are an attraction and varied wildlife including dear can often be spotted.
