2018 Brand New Lake Adirondack Rustic Chalet

Relax in a private brand new construction rustic lake house finished in 2018. Enjoy kayaking, tubing, fishing, or swimming in Adirondack Lake, few minute walk to town for dinner, drinks, entertainment. It is 20 minutes from Gore Mountain, many hiking trails, 15 minutes from the Adirondack Museum. Indian lake offers free of charge an ice skating rink, skates, and sledding area at their ski center. We offer snow shoes, cross country skis, sleds.We have a pool table and foose ball table to use.

The Speculator Guest House is fully renovated to offer an elevated and thoughtful stay. Guests love the outdoor sauna, Sunday to Wednesday private chef brunch or dinner, espresso maker, fully stocked kitchen, and everything you need for a campfire under the string lights. Walk to the grocery store, restaurants, shops, or the sandy beach on Lake Pleasant (.6 miles). Each guest receives individualized local recommendations. Walk across the street and bushwack for miles and miles. OK Slip Falls trailhead is less than a mile away. Skiing at Gore Mountain is 10 minutes away. There are endless things to do in the area-fishing, skiing, hiking, multiple museums, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, kayaking and canoeing to start your getaway!

Our guesthouse is minutes from the interstate, but you'll swear that you've traveled far out in "God's country." Enjoy your time in the ADK relaxing at our newly renovated, private and spacious home. This is a 4 season retreat. We have lake rights to Lake Pleasant-swimming, kayaking, or canoeing are only a 10 min walk. Please note: our lake access is shared with neighbors. Rent a boat for a day of fun. There is also plenty of hiking nearby. In the winter, enjoy the slopes, Oak Mountain is 5 mins away and Gore Mountain, only 30 mins. There is quick trail access for your snowmobile as well.

The "Mellow Moose" cabin is a quiet and peaceful retreat in the woods. Spend the day exploring the region or simply relax in nature. Or enjoy a campfire and watch the sunset through the trees. Use this as your home base for a ski trip or take a trip to Schroon lake, Brant lake or Lake George. (Roughly 30mins)
