Our goal is rest and renewal for our guests so they return home ready to serve others and encouraged to spend regular time in prayer and God's Word. Relaxing is also a part of renewal so on-site activities and the surrounding communities offer plenty of recreation and tourism opportunities. Marmutt Woods is a place to step out of daily distractions to relax and refocus. Even if you are here primarily for some other reason, we hope you'll take advantage of the quiet time and provided materials.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The Eagle’s Nest is a quaint, tastefully updated, vintage cabin located on a private non motorized lake. Beach access right outside your door. Enjoy the deck overlooking the lake or star gazing at night. Partake in swimming, fishing, canoeing, and kayaking the lake. Bring your toys with bike path, ATV and snowmobile access at the end of the road. Explore the Minocqua only 15 minutes away. Bring your boat and explore one of the many local lakes.

This family-size, fully-enclosed suite with a separate entrance from the host's attached house offers all the comforts of home within 15 min. of Minocqua, Rhinelander, and premier outdoor experiences- hiking, biking, fishing, boating. Inside find bright spaces, full log beams, and a hobbiton feel; open concept living area with fully stocked kitchen, table, bunk beds, large couch, TV and Wi-Fi; bedroom with queen bed and stowed air mattress; full bath; play room. One bedroom provides you with the typical bed/dresser setup for a great night of sleep. While the 2nd bedroom has a trundle bed (2 single beds), it also doubles as a office space which you can do your work while away from home.

St Germain is perfectly located in between all the northwoods action of Minocqua, Eagle River, Saynor, Manitowish, Boulder Junction. Incredible fishing, access to miles of bike, walking , atv trails. We even have a beach with shallow sandy bottom. The cabin is set back from the lake on the property but you still have complete access to all of it.

Wind your evenings down enjoying the sunset at the fire pit, or watching the stars!

"Great Location", "Amazing Views", "Clean", "Cozy", "Perfect", "Peaceful", "Comfortable", and "Relaxing" are what we repeatedly hear from our guests after their stay. The Heart of Vilas County Bike Trails and numerous Hiking trails are just minutes away. The #5 Snowmobile/ATV trail runs across the front of the property along Hwy 51 and we are surrounded by many area lakes and the Northern Highland State Forest.
