The Gardeners Cottage @ Corvisel - cosy & quirky!

The Gardeners Cottage is set within the walled gardens of Corvisel House, built by Rear Admiral John McKerlie in 1829. We have restored the cottage in a vintage, quirky style with Donegal & Harris tweed soft furnishings & floral accents to reflect the glorious garden outside! It's located at the edge of Newton Stewart so very handy for evening strolls to the eateries in town. You can take walks in our small forest from the courtyard & hang out in the walled garden - green fingers are welcomed!!

Popsal cottage

Popsal cottage is a charming stone built two bedroom home, exuding charcter and warmth. Nestled in a picturesque setting, it boasts stunning views of the surrounding countryside, making it an idyllic retreat for those seeking tranquility. The cottage has a cozy, inviting interior, featuring exposed stone walls and traditional design the cottage offers comfortable and well appointed accomodation. Inside there is a king bedroom and charming twin bedroom, providing versatile sleeping arrangements.

Burnbrae Byre

Truly luxurious holiday accommodation in a tastefully converted byre, set in a tranquil, rural location, but ideally located for all that the south- west has to offer. Bedroom 3 is open plan with stairs leading down to the living area please see photos), sleeps 5, private parking, unlimited Wi-Fi, log burner, oil central heating, sea and castle views. The Summer Hoose, a stunningly stylish cabin that’s the perfect place to retreat beside the fire, drink in hand and record player on. Nestled on Main Street in the picturesque village of Straiton they are just a stones throw from the local amenities. Sorry strictly no pets.

Welcome to our idyllic riverside cottage. Nestled in the picturesque Dumfries & Galloway countryside and set on the banks of Cairn Water. The area is rich with wildlife. Red squirrel, deer, kingfisher, woodpecker, red kite, buzzard and otter are just a few of the local visitors spotted from our garden. Stepford Station Cottage is the perfect cosy retreat for nature lovers. We welcome up to 2 well behaved dogs at no extra fee.

Cosy Cottage

The Old Post Office is a cosy little cottage on the High street of Scotland's smallest Royal Burgh. It was built in 1835 and was one of the many homes the local Post office has enjoyed over the centuries. There are steps up to the entrance and the staircase is quite steep and narrow so not suitable for all. The bedroom and bathroom are snug with low ceilings. The kitchen diner has a log burner for keeping the cottage toastie.

Fairy Cottage

Fairy Cottage is a self contained, fully equipped detached cottage, set in private grounds with private parking. Private patio area with garden furniture. Quiet and peaceful on a summer's evening. High Chair and travel cot available on request. Additional day guests only permitted with prior permission and an extra charge may be incurred. Our cottage has a capacity of a maximum of four people sharing two beds.
