We are looking forward to welcoming you to Marianne Cottage at Johnsfort House. This recently renovated stone cottage is cosy and inviting especially with the sun shining on the patio or the stove lit inside. The exposed stone walls, limestone hearth and deep blue painted walls are just some of the features of this beautiful cottage. Across the courtyard is Bartholomew's Loft (go to Airbnb Bartholomewsloft), an upside down space, another fabulous place to stay in the heart of The Boyne Valley.

Find your home away from home in our quaint cottage nestled between the River Barrow and The Grand Canal. Take a stroll or cycle along the famous 46km stretch of The Barrow Blueway or cast your fishing rod into the world of coarse fishing on the Grand Canal. Why not take a walk into town across the Aqueduct and visit some of our favourites such as Mooneys & Brennans or snuggle up to a log burning stove. The local Kids playground is a 5 minute stroll away should the kids need some play time.

Hugo's Cottage is located on a quiet lane in the heart of Ballymore Village. This cottage can accommodate up to 5 people comfortably. It is a traditional two-storey cottage with a new extension which holds a kitchen area, utility room and downstairs wheelchair accessible bathroom w/electric shower. There are two double rooms, one downstairs, one upstairs, with an additional double pull out sofa bed on the upstairs landing/reading area. There is a bath/shower upstairs. There is ample parking.

It's set in a beautifully tranquil spot with it's own private garden and parking area. Moore's Traditional Village Pub is 5 minutes walk down into the village. Excellent for stargazing as zero light pollution and for relaxation as zero traffic noise! Surrounded by stud farms and agricultural land.

This newly renovated cottage has maintained the handcrafted oak trusses originally sourced from Coolattin estate, making this an impressive and welcoming space. Central heating throughout.The cottage is situated beside our family home on a Small Working Farm ( farm is private property and is closed off by gate, which guests don’t have access to) We advise a car for transport around as nearest public transport is 5km from the cottage in the village of Duleek.
