Positioned high in the hills above Waipu Cove, we offer a tranquil and modern animal-friendly base in historic Waipu, close to the beaches and town. The perfect spot to explore sunny Northland. Equestrians, you can arrange to bring your horse, ride in our arena or on nearby stunning Uretiti beach. If you'd like to bring your friendly dog, we can accommodate your furry friends. Our location is very quiet: no traffic noise, just the occasional sound of surf and birds. Not just for horse lovers.

A private and peaceful Hot Tub area is available for your use. "Southwind" is a small rural property surrounded by farmland and other lifestyle blocks. We are 15 mins drive on sealed roads to amenities in both Mangawhai and Wellsford, 8 mins to the Te Arai surf beach turnoff and 12 minutes to the Te Arai Links course.

Overlooking the estuary and Bream Bay, this young holiday home in Waipu is elevated just above Cove Road, the main road between Waipu town and Waipu Cove. Beautiful ocean views from the main room and all three bedrooms. Please note that our parking platform is best for 2 cars only.
