"The Smokehouse" is a small cabin located on the 5 acre, "A Country Place". It is out in the country but only about 5 minutes to town. The cabin has a living/dinning/kitchen combined area and a separate bedroom and full bathroom. The front porch has rocking chairs to enjoy watching the deer and other wildlife while the back patio has a private hot tub, fire pit, charcoal grill and outdoor dinning. Nearby are quaint shops, multitude of restaurants/cafes, wineries, breweries, zip line, etc.

I moved out to Wimberley in 2017 and fell in love with all that the land and nature had to offer. I loved it so much I decided to build Hawk's Hollow (an homage to the resident Red-shouldered hawk who resides here), as place for others to experience its magic. Little Haven is an official 28-acre wildlife preserve 6 miles north of Wimberley. We manage the land for song birds, owls and other raptors. You are welcome to hike and explore anywhere on the land. The sunsets are amazing, and star gazing is the best in Texas (Wimberley is one of only three certified "Dark Sky" cities in Texas). This is the place if you want total quiet, privacy, and dark skies.
