Melrose House is our rustic Queenslander holiday home that gives lake glimpses & breezes. It is well equiped with 2 x kitchens & bathrooms, games room with pool table, air hockey, ping pong table, extensive verandas, fire pit, a cosy upstairs auto fireplace, kayaks, 2x bikes and plenty of parking space. This simple hut nestled into the rainforest is a birdwatcher's paradise! The property is entirely off-grid and is situated in a wildlife hotspot, with 100 acres of wet tropics rainforest connected to the World Heritage listed Maalan National Park. An ideal base for nature lovers to explore the Atherton Tableland, the bird list includes over 200 species, including Victoria's Riflebird, Blue-faced Parrot finch. Mammals include Tree kangaroos and Herbert River and Green Ringtail Possums.
