Croft House Bothy in Heart of Highlands

Featured in The Guardian Travel's '10 of the Best Wilderness Holidays in Scotland', get back-to-basics in this beautiful old croft house bothy, hidden on a mountainside between the Five Sisters of Kintail and Eilean Donan Castle, close to the Isle of Skye. With no running water or cooking facilities, this stay is not for the faint hearted. Bathe in a cold mountain stream, see the stars in the dark night sky, feel the heat from a crackling fire, and fall asleep to the sound of the waterfall.

Taigh Mairi (Mary's House) Self Catering

Our house Taigh Mairi is in Upper Breakish on the A87(main road). Taigh Mairi is a 5 minute drive into Broadford (3 miles) and 7 miles from the Skye bridge. Within a 10 minute walk is the Misty Bottle whisky shop.We have created a small, private, open plan self catering studio for 2 within our family home. The studio has its own facilities none of which are used by us. It is set up for guest use only. There are plenty of facilities to make your stay as comfortable and as homely as possible.

The Cabin With a View

A spacious cabin which is within walking distance to all local amenities (swimming pool, shops, restaurants & bars). It is approximately 10 mins walk to the nearest bus depot & local train station. Ideally situated for exploring the hills and mountains round about. The bridge to the Isle of Skye is only 1 mile away and the hills of Kintail are within easy reach at about 15 miles. The quaint, picturesque village of Plockton is close by and the historic Eilean Donan Castle 8 miles away.

Glen Licht Pod - Nestled in the hills of Kintail

Located just off the A87, it's the perfect base for exploring the Highlands. Nearby attractions: Five Sisters of Kintail Falls of Glomach Eilean Donan Castle – 5 minutes by car Isle of Skye – 20 minutes by car The pod features a private deck with outdoor seating, luxury toiletries and welcome pack.

Falasgair

Falasgair is a modern cabin on a working croft, which captures uninterrupted views over Portree bay, Ben Tianavaig and the Cuillin hills in the far distance. The cabin itself has a full height atrium which includes a functional kitchenette, seating area, log-burner and a three-piece bathroom suite. The mezzanine level is accessed by a wooden staircase featuring a comfortable double bed. Situated just off the Scorrybreach trail this is the perfect launchpad for your Skye adventure.

Bothan dubh

Bothan dubh (Black Bothy) We are situated in Badicaul which is a 5 minute drive from the Skye bridge and a 10 minute drive in the other direction to the beautiful village of Plockton. Relax and unwind in our peaceful, self contained studio with en-suite bathroom. Enjoy amazing views from the studio looking over the sea to Skye. Centrally located for exploring with Plockton 5 miles away, Kyle of Lochalsh 1.5 miles ,Skye bridge 2 miles away & Eilean Donan Castle 10 miles away.

A cosy cottage next to the Isle of Skye bridge

Two bedroom newly renovated country cottage set in the Scottish Highlands. A 5 minute drive over the bridge to Skye, a perfect base from which to explore. With a wood burning stove, newly fitted double shower room with rainfall shower and a brand new kitchen complete with washing machine, dryer and dishwasher, you will have all the comforts you need for your tranquil escape. Lusa Bothy is a luxury getaway location for couples on the Isle of Skye. It was the idea of the owner to renovate an old stone building into an amazing space with a feast for the senses in mind. High end, bespoke creations and craftsmanship completed by professional artisans using local materials and artwork, some of which are over 250 years old, make Lusa Bothy a quirky mix of the old, the new, and the upcycled, wrapped in traditional, Highland warmth.
