The cottage is simply furnished - 2 bedrooms, (second at top of stairs) WC, kitchen & lounge. Guest parking with private, walled garden.

Beautiful, inspiring, and peaceful, Arthouse is a place to escape. This converted art studio in West Dorset is close to Chesil Beach and the Jurassic Coast. It is surrounded by wildflowers and features contemporary art and sculptures by artists Rouwen and Reeve. The space is complemented by mid-century modern furnishings, high ceilings, and exposed beams. All doors open to a private patio and a naturalistic garden. The Sauna, located in the gravel garden looks out onto sculptures and plants.

Various wildlife and lifestock are frequent visitors of the cabin including our resident heron. Enjoy a drink on the sun deck and watch the sunset over the fields from the hot tub.

We are only 30 minutes drive from the world heritage site that is the Jurassic coast, which has the towns of Lyme Regis famous for its fossils and Bridport which are popular for the beach and cafes.

It is perfect the perfect base for exploring this part of the beautiful Jurassic-coast, browsing around the Georgian market town of Bridport, fossiling in Lyme Regis and walking in the West Dorset’s Area Of Outstanding Beauty. Guests will be greeted with external seating to the front, There is private off road parking for 2 vehicles with ramped access up to the front door, we also have a Key safe to the right of the front door, code available on request for late /Early access etc.
