Private 1-bed annex in the beautiful Tamar Valley

Our apartment is good for couples and solo travellers. Attached to our house, this is a small but very comfortable and modern space, with private entrance and patio garden. We are situated in a village within the Tamar Valley which is on the border between Devon and Cornwall - close to both moorlands and coast. You have easy access to all areas of the Southwest, particularly the parks of Dartmoor and Bodmin, Plymouth and the town of Tavistock. It is a great area to explore or just to relax!

The tastefully refurbished cottage is the perfect stay for a romantic couple's getaway or to make for a stunning spot to work from home! Calstock village has two pubs, cafe, walks into nature/history. Within the Tamar Valley's area of outstanding beauty, there's easy access to all of Cornwall yet close to Plymouth City Centre (40 minute drive or a scenic train ride).

The Old Smithy is set is a secluded valley on the river Tavy. It is a mile from the nearest road, down a private track through beautiful moorland and woodland. It's an ideal base for walking, cycling wild swimming and getting away from it all, a true nature lovers paradise! We live in a house on the same site so will be on hand for any advice or assistance. We are on the edge of Dartmoor National Park and an hour's drive from numerous beaches. The thriving town of Tavsitock is 7 miles away.

The Shippon is a meticulously converted cow barn with heated, polished concrete floors, gently curving deep green walls, hand-built kitchen, warmly lit reading nooks, & natural materials. A very special place to stay on the Bere Peninsula, Devon. This refurbished traditional slate-hung 'one-up-one-down' former silver miner's cottage was built in the 1800s. Set in the Tamar Valley National Landscape and Cornwall & West Devon Mining Landscape World Heritage Site, with views of Cornwall and shared use of our 1/4 acre garden.
