Hope Cottage is in a peaceful village in the perfect location to visit the many attractions North Yorkshire has to offer . Parking is available outside the cottage, and the train station is a mile away. Whixley has an excellent local pub The Anchor Inn , other local eating establishments are within easy driving distance. Generous discounts are on offer for long term let’s (28day or more .) Please note that charging points are not available to charge electric cars .

Goldesburgh Lodge is situated in the grounds of Syningthwaite Priory. This dog friendly cottage boasts open plan living, a double and single bedroom with house bathroom. Double doors open onto the patio with BBQ, garden and open fields. The court yard at the front of the cottage is a sun trap in the day and magically lit on an evening. We are perfectly located in the middle of Leeds, York and Harrogate with easy access to the A1 for day tips to the moors.

The property is a beautiful maisonette at Station House, an iconic grade 2 listed former railway station built in 1841 .The history of the building can still clearly be seen; indeed your accommodation is in the old waiting rooms overlooking the station platform. Tours of the rest of the site may be available on request, including the old goods shed. Guests have access to the public footpath/cycle way adjacent to the property along the old railway line.

What once was a Wesleyan Chapel attached to a Church and The Old Manse, this unique place has been lovingly restored and renovated recently by ourselves. We have carefully maintained some original features whilst introducing some modern creature comforts including free guest WiFi.
